Volunteer Position:  Friend for Recurring Visits

Location:  Arizona

 

Build a meaningful friendship with a senior through weekly in-person visits and check-in phone calls. Activities may include conversation, board games, reading, shared meals, and celebrating special occasions.

Requirements

• 18+ years old

• Volunteer individually or as a couple

• Reliable transportation

• 6-month commitment

• Weekly 1.5-hour visit + weekly phone call

• Background check*

• Completion of initial training​​​​

Volunteer Position:  Friend for Recovery Visits (Medical & Hospice Setting)

Location:  Arizona

 

Offer compassionate presence to seniors and their families during illness or end-of-life care. Visits may include conversation, quiet companionship, reading, or prayer. This role requires emotional strength and sensitivity.
